We operate a diverse fleet of vehicles, and our engineering teams play a vital role in keeping our buses safe, reliable, and on the road for our customers. About the Role: The successful candidate will be a key part of our maintenance team, ensuring our vehicles are repaired and maintained to the highest standards. Your role will involve: Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on a variety of buses and coaches. Conducting preventative electrical maintenance and inspections. Ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and meet safety regulations. Attending breakdowns and carrying out roadside repairs when necessary. This role offers two working patterns: Day position (Monday to Friday) Standard pay rate: £18.77, Mon-Fri Overtime: £23.46, Weekend Overtime: £28.15 Shift position (Sun/Thu - Tue/Sat) Standard pay rate: £20.03, Mon-Fri Overtime: £25.02, Weekend Overtime: £30.04 Why Join Stagecoach East? What We’re Looking For: Engineering background with a focus on vehicles – experience in buses, HGVs, trucks, automotive, plant, rail, or farm equipment is all valuable.
