The School
The London School of Film, Media and Design provides a vibrant hub of creative learning, offering professionally oriented courses which have been designed and developed with input from employers and industry specialists.
The Role
The London School of Film, Media and Design is currently looking for an Hourly Paid Lecturer to deliver a module/s on our BSc (Hons) Visual Effects course. We are especially interested in someone with up-to-date experience in Houdini software. We are keen to find someone who can teach the core elements of 3d creation and who has knowledge of generating simulations within 3d programs.
The Person
We are looking specifically for someone to deliver training to our students in Houdini software. Experience in broadcast, visualisation, visual effects, film or games industry is desired. Candidates must also have experience in teaching and learning at Higher Education level or experience in delivering professional training.
The successful candidate will be helped to develop the modules, create teaching materials, upload teaching material to the virtual learning environment, and be involved with marking student work.
The successful candidate will preferably have a relevant Masters qualification or significant industry experience.
