Heritage Portfolio are looking for a talented and experienced Baker to join the team at our Central Production Kitchen in Edinburgh. This role requires the candidate to assist with all aspects of Bakery operations and production. This is a full-time, daytime only position, five days out of seven. Training across all areas of production will be provided on the job.With an emphasis on fresh, seasonal, made from scratch cooking, our in-house Bakery is responsible for providing our retail venues across Edinburgh and Dundee with a wide range of traybakes, biscuits, muffins, mini loaves and large decorated cakes, as well as some speciality afternoon tea items. We bake between 5,000-7,000 piecesof cake every week, so the ability to plan and execute production as efficiently as possible is key. The ideal candidate for this role will have a sound knowledge and passion for baking, as well as previous experience working in a similar environment at a supervisory level.
