What the Role Entails:

As a Placement Analyst within our Corporate Banking division, you will be at the forefront of supporting relationship-focused finance professionals. You'll gain exposure to a broad spectrum of complex financial issues that our global clients navigate, including:

  • Capital structure optimization
  • Liability management strategies
  • Liquidity and funding solutions
  • Risk management frameworks
  • Investment strategies

A unique aspect of corporate banking at Citi is the involvement in strategic capital allocation decisions and their execution. You will collaborate closely with various internal departments, such as Risk Management, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets Origination. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

During your six months with the Corporate Banking team, your responsibilities will include:

Who We're Looking For:

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Current enrollment in their penultimate or final year of university, pursuing a degree in any discipline.
  • An academic record indicative of achieving a "Very Good" (KT- Kiitettävä, 4-4.99, or equivalent) undergraduate grade average.
  • Fluency in both English and at least one Nordic language (Finnish, Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian).
  • A strong commitment to personal growth and career development, coupled with a keen desire to learn.
  • Demonstrated success in team environments.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
