This role will support the delivery of BEV Battery Unit programmes and their interdependencies in support of JLR’s strategy of in-house designed and manufactured batteries for our future range of electrified vehicles. This will involve the management and tracking of programme planning, health, and adherence to JLR Processes.

WHAT TO EXPECT

In this role, you will work with cross-functional stakeholders from all areas of the business, understanding their requirements, resolving incompatibilities and ensuring the programme is delivered to cost, quality, and time. . Here’s what to expect:

Primary interface between the Battery Commodity team, Powerpack team, Vehicle Programme team and Manufacturing programme teams. Co-ordinate the joint activities of the key stakeholders (Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Manufacturing, STA) in support of Programme objectives Coordinate Programme specific activities to ensure reliable delivery of the Battery targets on behalf of the Centre of Competences Support the Programme Management Team meetings, deliver accurate programme metrics as required and cascade forward planning metrics to Lead Engineers Ensure cross-functional requirements are integrated into the commodity delivery plan (BPP, CCDS) In collaboration with the Scrum Master, manage the resolution of ObstaclesPlan prototype builds with unit facilities to deliver customer test properties

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

Previous experience in Programme Delivery in battery technology with a track record of delivery Analytical skills with the ability to understand how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience of stakeholder management Ability to present complex data & issues to a varied audience Strong working knowledge of change control, product definition and change management processes Ability to manage risks and opportunities Negotiation and adaptability skills
