ABOUT THE ROLE As a Beauty Guide, you'll be involved in creating the ultimate cosmetic shopping experience for our customers though personalised appointments, shop floor demonstrations and events. You'll help customers to discover the very best products from across our Beauty Hall, providing inspirational and impartial beauty and skincare advice. You'll also be creating social media content to showcase our latest trends and offers. . Key Responsibilities - Working as part of a team you'll be facilitating appointments with customers and hosting beauty talk events to larger groups. - Thinking creatively and commercially to maximize sales and profit opportunities. - Creating memorable shopping experiences for our customers where they'll leave with the best possible impression of you and the John Lewis brand. - Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in make-up and skincare. - Creating social media content to be shared with John Lewis followers. Essential skills/experience you'll need - Great customer service skills. - Ability to demonstrate makeup and skin care. - Keen interest in beauty and be up to date on the latest trends. Desirable skills/experience you may have - Previous experience in a beauty or skincare role beneficial but not essential. - Creating social media content. .
