Position Summary Cirium is seeking an enthusiastic undergraduate to join our Commercial Strategy & Planning team during the summer of 2025. We help Cirium grow because our Analytics efforts drive data-led decisions, while our Pricing capabilities help transform how we operate. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of how a business uses analytics to drive the activities of our Commercial teams (Sales, Marketing and Strategy). Cirium has a diverse collection of customer and market data, with a team constantly striving to extract the maximum value from this data and serve it where it needed most around our business. In this role you will use advanced data engineering, data visualization and stakeholder management skills to deliver crucial new insights for our commercial colleagues, with the support of the Commercial Strategy team. The Team The Commercial Strategy team is a close-knit, high performing team, constantly innovating and striving for higher commercial impact. You will be based in our London Bishopsgate office, reporting to the Commercial Strategy & Planning Director with two other team members. We spend at least two days a week in the office together, working flexibly from home or the office on the other days. Cirium is one of five companies that comprise LexisNexis Risk Data Services, all of whom recognise the importance of growing capability in this space. We have a well-established peer network and the support of our Corporate Strategy team. The Role Working with a cutting-edge technology stack (using tools like Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Power BI), you will get a chance to deliver on internal analytics use cases for Cirium, managing the full end-to-end project, including: Initial business immersion to understand our customers and commercial colleagues better. Use case definition and refinement. Solution wireframing and iteration. Last mile data transformations and data pipeline automation (using Databricks, and coding in SQL and Python). Dashboard development using Power BI. Launch communications and internal user training. Following this internship you will be able to evidence the development of business analytics skills in real-world applications that are among the most highly sought-after. Skills, Qualifications, Experiences and Behaviours This is a paid internship with the opportunity to learn about the application of data across the Aviation industry, with the potential to form project ideas for your final year. The ideal candidate will: Be skilled at quickly building strong relationships Be able to evidence a high level of data literacy already (e.g. knowledge of SQL and Power BI will enable you to hit the ground running in this role) Have good written and verbal communication skills (presentation delivery) Be very well organised with strong project management skills Be proficient in MS Office solutions Have high attention to detail.
