As the Industry CTO for Financial Services & Insurance at Eviden, you will shape the technical vision and innovation strategy for our fastest-growing sector. Leading a team of senior architects and technical specialists, you'll drive digital transformation initiatives for major financial institutions while expanding Eviden's market presence in the UK&I region.

Strategic Impact

Spearhead technical strategy and innovation for Eviden's FS&I portfolio, directly influencing £multi-million digital transformation programs. Partner with C-level stakeholders across leading financial institutions to solve complex business challenges through technology innovation. Drive the adoption of emerging technologies including Cloud, AI/ML, Data Analytics, and Digital Platforms within the FS&I sector. Lead the technical direction for major deals and strategic initiatives, ensuring solution viability and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Innovation

Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for Eviden's FS&I practice. Drive innovation through emerging technologies, creating differentiated solutions for our financial services clients. Lead technical due diligence and solution architecture for strategic opportunities. Guide the evolution of our service portfolio in response to market trends and client needs.

Client Engagement & Business Growth

Serve as trusted technology advisor to CIO/CTO-level stakeholders at major financial institutions. Lead solution strategy and architecture for complex transformation programs. Drive technical innovation and thought leadership in client engagements. Ensure solutions align with client objectives while maintaining operational excellence.

Technical Excellence & Delivery

Provide technical governance and quality assurance across FS&I engagements. Lead architecture and design authority for major programs. Drive standardization and reuse of solutions across accounts. Act as ultimate escalation point for critical technical issues.

People & Capability Development

Build and lead high-performing teams of architects and technical specialists. Drive capability development aligned with market demands. Foster innovation culture and technical excellence. Collaborate with global delivery centers to optimize service delivery.

Required Experience & Capabilities

Technical & Industry Expertise

Proven track record as CTO/Technical Director in Financial Services sector. Deep understanding of FS&I industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. Strong technical background across Digital, Cloud, Data, and emerging technologies. Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs.

Leadership & Business Acumen

Experience leading technical teams in a global organization. Strong commercial acumen and track record in growing technology business. Proven ability to operate at C-level with major financial institutions. Experience in solution development and pre-sales for large deals.
