This role will report into the Director of Faculty Administration and work closely with the Director and colleagues across the Faculty and wider university.The role will have overall responsibility for ensuring that the payments that are made to our placement partners across all our courses including; education, social work, nursing and health sciences, are paid in a timely manner. The role will also have the responsibility of assisting our university finance teams with audit processes and end of financial year information. The main responsibilities of the post holder will be; to raise placement payments to our placements partners in a timely manner and in line with our service level agreements. to liaise with our placement partners to ensure they are set up as suppliers on our financial systems. be the main point of contact for any queries in relation to placement payments both internally and externally. provide the Director of Faculty Administration and Schools with monthly updates on the status of our placement payments.develop new processes that suit the university and benefit the placement partner support with reconciliation tasks and support central university finance teams with end of financial year processes. liaise with central university finance teams on a regular basis work with colleagues within the placement teams across the Faculty as well as central Faculty staff. use the placement platform, ARC, to access any necessary information that is required to make the payments to our partners. This role would suit someone who has a background in finance or has had experience working within a finance team or been involved in finance activities as part of a wider team. Finance qualifications would be desirable however the post holder will be expected to have a high level of knowledge and experience working with Excel. As well as experience with Excel, the candidate must also have experience using the other Microsoft Office packages.
