Appleton Court, the East Riding's latest extra care scheme located in Hessle, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Officer to join our team. As a Care Officer, you will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operational management of the scheme, ensuring that the care needs of our tenants are met and supporting our care team in delivering these needs.

Our focus is on providing outcomes-based care plans, promoting access to community activities, utilising technology-enabled care, and offering support to our tenants to enable them to live

independently. We are looking for a candidate with experience working in an adult social care setting, who has previously worked in a supervisory position.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of relevant legislation and standards in regulated services for vulnerable adults, an understanding of CQC Regulations and Reporting Procedures, and the ability to manage, lead, and supervise a staff group. They should also be able to listen and talk sympathetically, while being respectful of others' needs, wishes, and right to privacy and dignity.
