After School Club Assistant – CASUAL (with future possibility of permanent)- term time only

Required immediately, we are recruiting Out of School Club Assistants on a casual basis with a view to permanent as we increase pupils attending our popular after school club. Please note that we are currently reviewing our club provision and it is likely that role(s) will be permanent from September 2025, with a slightly later finish time. More details will be given at interview, and we welcome discussions around role flexibility/job share etc.

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and trustworthy people who like working with children to join our friendly team of Out of School Club Assistants in our After School Club. This position involves assisting in the preparation of food/snacks, helping to set out, clear away and clean tables and chairs for the club, maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times. You will also organise and supervise activities for the children to take part in whilst promoting positive play, this is a fun and enjoyable role. A Basic Food Hygiene qualification would be beneficial, however, training can be given.

The hours for this post will be 3.30pm to 5.30pm term time only (hours are under review and are likely to be extended to slightly later from September 2025).

This is a casual post to respond to an increase in pupils attending our popular After School Club; it is likely there will be a permanent post from September 2025. However, we appreciate that candidates may have other commitments and request that applicants are available most days (Monday to Friday, term time) in the first instance.
