The job itself

An opportunity has arisen to recruit to a pool of Casual Senior Night Care workers at Appleton Court Extra Care scheme.

The East Riding scheme which is located in Hessle offers 43 apartment style homes to adults who are supported with their varying level of care needs to live as independently as possible. The scheme caters for a variety of ages from 18+.

As the newly appointed Casual Senior Night Care Worker you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering care and support to the tenants of Appleton Court during the night. You will be required to supervise the Night Care Workers and support the Senior Care Officers with ensuring a high-level quality service is delivered at all times. Tenant support will focus on outcomes-based care plans, promoting access to community activities, technology enabled care (TEC).

We are looking for a Casual Senior Night Care Worker who is an innovative thinker, enthusiastic and motivating in leading a shift, who has supervisory experience and has previously worked within a social care setting. Full training will be provided to support this position and this opportunity to develop professionally with access to training and experiential learning and the support from a Registered Manager and team.

Working at Appleton Court you will be an integral part of enabling and supporting people to live their life how they choose to. Promoting independence and introducing them into the Appleton Court wider community.
