Heritage Portfolio are looking for a talented and enthusiastic chef to join our culinary team at the V&A Dundee. Under the guidance of our Head Chef, this role requires the candidate to assist with the production of all food for daily service as well as supporting menu preparation and delivery of our in-house events. All our food is prepared on site and made from scratch, focusing on seasonal and locally sourced produce. The menu changes daily, so there is plenty of room for creativity and personal flair.After a refurbishment in March 2023, Tatha Bar & Kitchen at V&A Dundee changed from restaurant to café style counter service, offering a range of gourmet deli filled sandwiches and baguettes, seasonal salads, soups and hot dishes as well as a range of daily specials and toasties coming from the kitchen. Set in the most beautiful of surroundings, V&A Dundee is a cultural destination that attracts visitors from all around the UK. We are much loved by our regulars for our location and for our creative, daily changing menu.This is a contracted role which guarantees the suitable candidate a minimum of 30 hours per week throughout the year, with all additional hours worked paid at the same rate of £13.25 - £13.50 per hour depending on experience. Hours of work will predominately be 0800 – 1600, with some requirement to support events business in evenings as required.
