Cleaner – (Riverside and Highfields Sports Grounds) (part time)

Your role as a Cleaner: 

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas. 

Based at our University Sports Grounds Riverside and Highfields Off Campus Sport Complexes, main duties include the general cleaning of offices, meeting rooms, toilets, corridors, stairwells and a range of sports pavilions including changing rooms and bath/shower rooms providing excellent customer service at all times. 

Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Please note due to these sites being based off campus at our Riverside and Highfields Sport Complexes, successful candidates will be required to travel to these locations via transport.

Positions Available:

There are 2 permanent positions available: 15 per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged (Monday to Friday with occasional weekends work during university wide events between the hours of 7.00am and 10.00am) Flexibility will be required. 

Please note both positions will attract 20% uplift allowance pay for any hours worked at the weekend. Overtime opportunities available

The successful candidates for these positions will be expected to attend statutory training courses and any refresher training required by the department. There are planned training courses throughout the year and different options to attend either during a typical week, Monday to Friday or on a set weekend dates within the year.
