Job Description Cost Programme Manager - Lead Shop Full Time Derby/Hybrid What you will be doing As âLead Shopâ, Engine Overhaul Services has a strategic intent to optimise overhaul methods and processes, to maximise the commercial outcomes for Rolls-Royce plc. The Cost Programme Manager role is required to ensure a successful embodiment of cost culture within EOS, and to help leverage the information and ideas from our only wholly owned Large Civil MRO facility, to generate efficiency and cost improvements across the global MRO network. This includes coordinating and driving the overall SV Cost programme for Civil Aerospace, under the direction of the Programme Exec â Shop Visit Cost. Responsibilities Functional lead within EOS to enable best practice sharing across the MRO network, and increase the knowledge and awareness of Cost within the business Oversee the EOS Cost Lead/Analyst, providing direction and support as required on: Understanding EOS cost actuals Vs target for each workscope, and reasons for variation, including standardisation of cost data where practicable Identifying systemic trends and launching cost initiatives, and sharing with the wider network as part of the Lead Shop accountability Setting up and running cost-related governance Business Case creation and evaluation, including the evaluation of suggestion scheme inputs Management of plans and launch of new improvements in S-Cost Cost recovery of all Non-Shop Visit (WID) activity requested of EOS Programme Lead for the integrated delivery of the 5YP net committed reduction for Civil Shop Visit Cost Ensure high confidence plans in place Support SVC performance reporting at Civil & Group level (incl. Transformation Strategic Theme updates) Responsible for standard governance model for Aftermarket Operations (VDO) to ensure delivery of the in-year Shop Visit Cost portfolio as per 5YP commitment; building a strong communication framework with the relevant Value Stream and delivery areas, and ensure all SVC Programme workstreams are funded and resourced Manage the communications strategy for SVC on behalf of Aftermarket Operations Why Rolls-Royce? Demonstrated ability to challenge, influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Comfortable working in a fast paced, change orientated environment with competing priorities. High degree of self-motivation, flexibility, initiative, action-orientation and vision, supplemented with good IT skills.
