About the Role

The School of Management is seeking to appoint a Data Administrator on a fixed term contract to cover an internal secondment.  

The School of Management is one of the UK’s leading Business Schools, located in an impressive new building with state-of-the art resources near the city of Bath. 

Our extensive offerings encompass undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes, alongside tailored executive education options for both individuals and organisations. 

With a dedicated team of over 190 teaching and research professionals, complemented by a support staff of around 90 managerial and administrative experts (referred to as Professional Services, ‘PS’), we cultivate a vibrant working environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the School of Management’s Rankings & Accreditation and Alumni Relations & External Engagement teams. 

The work you do will directly contribute to the School’s global reputation and strategic priorities.

Key aspects of the role include:

Data Management & Integrity – Ensuring accurate and up-to-date data for rankings submissions, accreditation reports, and alumni engagement.Rankings & Accreditation Support – Managing and analysing data critical to the School’s performance in key global rankings (e.g. QS, Financial Times, EQUIS, AACSB).Alumni Engagement & Reporting – Supporting data collection, reporting, and analysis to enhance alumni relationships and track graduate outcomes.Insight & Analysis – Creating dashboards, reports, and data-driven insights to support decision-making across the School.

This role is integral to maintaining the School’s standing among top global institutions and will suit a detail-oriented individual with strong data management skills.

About You

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong data management skills who can support the School of Management’s Rankings & Accreditation and Alumni Relations & External Engagement teams. You will thrive in this role if you have:

Experience in data management and analysis, with the ability to maintain accuracy and integrity in handling large datasets.Strong attention to detail, ensuring data is correctly processed, reported, and used effectively for decision-making.Proficiency in using databases and CRM systems (e.g. Raiser’s Edge or equivalent), with the ability to clean, update, and manage data.Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise tasks and work to multiple deadlines.Ability to interpret and present data in a clear and meaningful way, including the use of dashboards and reports.Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and explain data-driven insights.A proactive and adaptable approach, comfortable working independently and as part of a team on varied projects.IT proficiency, particularly in Excel and data visualisation tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) fixed term basis with an expected duration of 12 months.
