We have an exciting opportunity to join our Fleet Performance and Contracts Team as a Fleet Data Analyst.

About the role
Reporting to the Fleet Performance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting EMR’s fleet performance improvement initiatives by developing systems, processes and tools for collection, evaluation, interpretation and reporting of data. Using data interrogation methods and software (Microsoft Power BI and Office), you will explore trends and data across our Fleet systems to generate regular reports that will show progress against fleet performance KPIs and support our engineers on the ground in understanding and investigating processes, operations, systems and faults.
Key responsibilities include:
Gathering fleet performance data and indicators to identify trends and inform key metricsProactively engaging with Fleet, Operations and Performance teams to ensure accurate, quality data setsInterrogation of data across systems to ensure accurate and consistent inputCreating and managing KPI and performance data metric dashboard and status reports, reviewing industry best practice to improve and automate the reporting processPromoting intelligence sharing and best practice across user group forums through data inputSupporting fleet asset management and maintenance processes by undertaking periodic audits and deep dives involving interrogation of the asset management systemProviding data and analysis to inform supplier improvement initiatives and warranty claimsAbout you
To be successful in this role you will have proven relevant experience in data collection, processing and analysis using relevant IT systems. You will also be:
A great all-round communicator, with ability to present data effectively in a variety of formats, including written reports and presentations Able to work closely and collaboratively within a team and build relationships with business stakeholders Fluent in Microsoft Office and Power BIHighly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage own workloadMotivated to learn business systems and processes to support data and information gathering and reportingExperience of remote condition monitoring and asset management systems is preferred but not essential.
Whilst a rail or similar engineering industry background is desirable, we would welcome your application whatever your background, as long as you can demonstrate an aptitude and motivation to learn our systems and processes and a great data skillset!
