Salary: €40,800 - €61,200 (ROI) or £29,200 - £43,800 (NI) + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for someone join SSE Airtricity as a Data Protection Analyst on an 18 month contract.

You will

manage the Data Protection mailbox, ensuring that Data Protection Incidents, Subject Access Requests (SAR) and requests for general guidance from the business are dealt with promptly, professionally and effectively manage all Data Protection Incidents, through investigation of incidents, analysis of trends to ensure risks are understood, taking effective action to minimise recurrence, and escalation of incidents in line with risk matrix and SSE policy and procedures oversee all Subject Access Requests by engaging with the in-team administrators, obtaining copies of data from a variety of sources, reviewing ‘what is personal data, applying exemptions, fulfilling SARs and responding to the customer within regulatory timescales interact with a range of stakeholders across the business, including Group Legal Data Protection, to ensure that data protection risks are understood, and that effective and compliant control mechanisms are in place to manage said risks assist the Data Protection Specialist (DPS) in the preparation of reports to the Group Data Protection Officer to demonstrate ongoing compliance with GDPR

You have

good working knowledge of Data Protection legislation proficiency in MS Office applications (particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint) an understanding of how to manage Subject Access Requests and data protection breaches strong investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence the implementation of effective improvements to control environment excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective and engaging relationships across all levels of the organisation and with external customers
