Job Description Data SME Full time Derby/Hybrid What you will be doing An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data SME to join Group IT function, based in Derby. As a Data SME, you will technically contribute to projects within the Engineering & Manufacturing â Enterprise Solutions team, working in partnership with the Project Manager and the Solution Architect. Responsibilities You will: Determine and acquire technical skills necessary to deliver the capability, working in conjunction with other Solution SMEs, and the Solution Architect(s). Define solutions, and where possible work up configuration for the Mindsphere tool to suit business requirements. Migrate data between legacy and strategic tools using the eQube toolset. Work with the business to interpret their requirements to design solutions for data tools. Work with many new tools including: eQube Technologic Migration Integration (EQ-MI) tool to drive data movement between Mindsphere, and Teamcenter (plus other Enterprise Systems) is a secondary requirement. Mendix for Low Code No Code application building, as part of the front end to Mindsphere, and the EQ toolset. Why Rolls-Royce? Experience with UML Data & Process modelling tools such as ARIS, and ArchiMate would be a distinct advantage. Knowledge of any of the following tools: Mindsphere, Mendix, EQ-MI (Migration Integration), EQ-BI (Business Intelligence) / TCRA (Teamcenter Reporting & Analytics). Excellent problem-solving skills and good people, communication and influencing skills. Experience with writing technical documentation and understanding of Business Process. Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools such as Excel and Word. Teamcenter â A general user understanding as to how the tool works, and what it is used for from a Design & Manufacturing perspective.
