A bit about the job: The GCS Data team will aim to transform our business by using a growing stack of data-assets to achieve tangible outcomes. Through strong internal and external stakeholder partnerships, we will enable a market leading data-driven organisation that empowers our expert colleagues. As part of the team, you’ll have a key role in shaping the future of GCS insurance, applying cutting-edge analytics, providing new data-driven insights and helping to build successful, productionised AI solutions that improve decision making for our stakeholders. You’ll also grow your own skillset alongside, including through continuous learning as a member of Quantum, our dedicated Data Science community. Skills and experience we’re looking for: An inquisitive mind with a desire to get to the heart of the problem. Experience in solving complex problems using data-driven solutions and sharing knowledge. Ability to articulate the value of work and present information effectively to non-technical audiences. Relevant experience in data science through statistical modelling or programming languages like Python, SQL, R, C++, etc. Best practices in AI and ML are favourable, and experience with Lloyd's and the London Market is beneficial but not mandatory.
