As the Demand Planning Manager in Rolls-Royce, youâll work to support the Defence UK Mature Programmes from within the Business Support organisation. You will work across the Services business to improve our customer understanding and focus on the start of the Demand planning process which is critical to enabling our business to successfully deliver to our customers and shareholders. What you will be doing: Definition and governance of the Demand Planning stages of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. Contribute to the SIOP transformation journey and the introduction of the Advanced Planning System (APS) into the Defence business. Contribute and support implementation of the strategy for developing a long-term comprehensive Services Customer Fleet forecast which serves as the critical inputs to the SIOP, Parts Forecasts, and financial forecasts. Work with UK Mature Programs to gather requirements & support implementation of a tool which tracks & forecasts the quantity of global RR products in-service. Work alongside Business Development to understand the future OE Demand and align this to Order Intake and Financial forecasts. Contribute and support implementation of the strategy to increase our Unparalleled customer understanding. This includes utilizing data to analyse inputs on past actuals, markets, environmental trends, budgets, and competition. Position qualifications: Bachelors degree with 5+ years of experience in Planning/Modelling environment, OR Master degree with 3+ years of experience in a Planning/Modelling environment, OR In lieu of degree, 9 + years of experience in a Planning environment. Must be UK Citizen to be considered for this role Preferred requirements: Experience in Planning roles. Experience delivering complex projects with numerous stakeholders Experience in modelling customer fleets and operations Proficient in utilising data analytics and visualisation tools to effectively present complex information.
