Director of Education and Student Experience (ESE) Enhancement
We are seeking a Director of Education and Student Experience (ESE) Enhancement to join our Education and Student Experience team. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the quality of education and student life across a diverse and global institution.
About the role
As Director of ESE Enhancement, you will lead a strategic team at the heart of transforming how education and student experience are delivered across the university. Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor for ESE, you will play a pivotal role in embedding our university-wide ESE strategy through strong partnerships with academic units and professional services.

Lead the design, creation and management of the Educator Academy (EA) - a transformative initiative aimed at upskilling staff and delivering curriculum transformation at scaleEnsure the development of a high-quality, strategic and market-aligned undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate taught (PGT) programme portfolioUse data-driven insights to inform ESE decision-making and strategy implementation.Collaborate globally, by supporting our international campuses in China and Malaysia and ensuring our approach is globally informed and locally impactfulWorking closely with the Director of Quality and Standards to build a high-performing, collaborative ESE strategic teamAbout you
You are a strategic and collaborative leader with a passion for education and student success, who can demonstrate:
An effective senior leadership in higher education, with experience of working with academic and external stakeholdersA strategic mindset with the ability to create and communicate a compelling vision and deliver impactful changeEffective interpersonal skills and the ability to influence, persuade and build strong relationships at all levelsA commitment to leading high-performing, inclusive teams and supporting the development of othersDeep understanding of the Education and Student Experience (ESE) landscape, with experience driving quality enhancement and delivering innovative solutionsExperience managing budgets and a results-driven approachThe ability to uphold and embody the university’s values of Fairness, Ambition, Inclusivity, Respect, and OpennessThis role will be offered on a permanent contract. The working hours are full time 36.25h per week.
