As aDriver & Stores Operative, youll play a key role in delivering food provisions to various sites around the college campus and ensuring everything runs smoothly.What Youll Do:Drive a company vehicle and comply with Sodexos driving policy and regulations.Deliver food supplies to various locations across the college campus.Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.Adhere to daily delivery schedule and meet customers time slots.Promote a good company image to customers and guests by using positive customer service practicesAccept deliveries of stock ensuring they are correct and any damage or discrepancies are recordedLiaise with Store Manager, hospitality team, Executive Head Chef and Catering ManagerEnsure that any orders are suitably packaged ready for deliveryKeep accurate records of where stock is allocated around site.Ensure the safety and security of the stock and complete frequent and accurate stock takesReport any complaints and take action where possibleUndertake occasional duties outside the normal routine but within the scope of the position and the departments activities.Comply with all company health and safety and food safety compliance rules and to report any issues.What You Bring:Must hold full UK current driving licence with no endorsements.Experience in similar role either in a stores/ warehouse capacity or kitchen/catering environment.Good time management and organizational skillsSelf-motivated and pro-activeAbility to work in a role that requires physical effort and perform manual handling tasksAbility to work as part of a team or individually as neededAbility to work well under pressurePositive approach to learning in role and identifying own training needs as appropriateNumerate and LiterateWhat We Offer:Being part of Sodexo isnt just about having a job—its about building a career and making a real impact.
