### Key Responsibilities and Opportunities:
As an Education Fellow, your role will be multifaceted and deeply impactful. You will:
- Deliver Engaging Teaching Sessions: Prepare, coordinate, and administer teaching sessions for small to medium-sized groups (workshops and seminars) and full cohorts (lectures), ensuring a stimulating learning environment.
- Develop Essential Clinical Skills: Lead workshops and practical sessions focused on critical clinical and professional skills, encompassing physical examination techniques, effective communication strategies, and essential procedural skills.
- Facilitate Simulation-Based Learning: Supervise teaching sessions utilizing innovative clinical simulation modalities, including peer-to-peer examination, advanced manikins, procedural task trainers, and the invaluable experience of working with simulated patients (actors).
- Shape Future Clinicians: Empower students to acquire the skills and competencies vital for successful future clinical practice, aligning with the General Medical Council's (GMC) "Outcomes for Graduates" (2018).
- Contribute to Curriculum Development: Play an active role in multiple mini-interviews (MMIs), clinical objective structured practical examinations (OSCEs), and provide crucial input into course development, programme evaluation, and curriculum enhancements.
### What You'll Bring to the Role:
To excel in this position, you will possess:
- A Medical or Healthcare degree.
- Demonstrable recent clinical experience within the NHS.
- A clear and evident passion for teaching and learning within undergraduate or postgraduate medical education, or a closely related health-based discipline.
- Advanced knowledge of the relevant subject matter to effectively deliver teaching within the clinical skills theme of the BM BS programme.
