We have an exciting opportunity for an Education Excellence Support Manager to join our Educational Excellence team, a small friendly team who work within the Libraries department.
The Educational Excellence Team is dedicated to supporting the University’s mission to achieve the highest standards in academic quality assurance and enhancement. Our team collaborates with colleagues across Professional Services and faculties in the UK, China, and Malaysia to ensure excellence in academic quality and enhancement activities. We know that having colleagues from a wide range of backgrounds is key to a good, supportive workplace and even better services. We are particularly keen to receive applications from those who are currently underrepresented in Libraries in the UK, such as racially minoritised people.
In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Assurance and Senior Enhancement Managers across our Faculties and Schools to deliver key institutional review and monitoring activities within our Quality Assurance and Enhancement framework. You will also support the team by providing secretariat functions for key University Assurance and Enhancement committees.
We are seeking highly organised, detail focused individuals with good interpersonal communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. They should be adept at reviewing and evaluating multiple data sources to provide clear summaries for diverse audiences. This role includes managing two direct reports.
The post if offered on a fixed term contract until 31 May 2026. Hours of work are full time, 36.25 hours per week. The role is open to internal candidates only.
You will be based at our University Park site and your work could involve working across different campuses. The University offers Agile working arrangements with blended approach of home and office working each week.
