Join Our Team as a Engineering Lead – Make an Impact Every DayLocation: University of Greenwich, 30 Park Row, Greenwich, London, SE10 9LSDays/Shift Pattern: Monday to FridayWorking Hours: 8.30am to 5pmTotal Hours Per Week: 40hrsSalary: Competitive, with excellent benefitsAt Sodexo, we believe in delivering outstanding service, fostering meaningful experiences, and empowering our teams to thrive.Were on the lookout for a passionate and motivated Engineering Lead to become an integral part of our dynamic team.About the RoleIn this role, youll take the lead in directing the campus Hard FM/engineering function, managing a multi-disciplinary team and contractors to deliver safe, compliant M&E services, planned and reactive maintenance, and audit-ready operations against SLAs/KPIs, ensuring exceptional service and operational efficiency.Your impact will be felt every day as you collaborate with a team dedicated to keeping the estate running smoothly for students and staff, strengthening statutory compliance and H&S, optimising resources and supplier performance, and elevating client satisfaction across the university.What Were Looking ForThe individual will require a high level of knowledge of building services systems and lead the site team from a technical perspective with a high level of technical ability.Will hold a recognised trade, electrical, mechanical, plumbing.Minimum 2 years management experience of a diverse workforceMinimum 2 years experience working within a TFM / IFM environment.Confident in using Microsoft office suite.Experienced in compiling performance reports and competent in presenting to management.Experience of using time management and payroll applications, including resource planningExtensive experience of hard services and associated regulationsHave a good understanding of risk assessments and safe systems of work.Experience of preparing for internal and external FM auditsConfident at building client and stakeholder relationshipsWhat We OfferAt Sodexo, this is more than just a job—its your chance to be part of something greater.We celebrate individuality, encourage purpose-driven work, and empower you to succeed on your own terms.
