Stock Control & Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels through regular checks, monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and ensure effective stock organisation. Complete cycle counting and stock audits to verify inventory accuracy. Parts Ordering & Delivery Management: Order parts and materials as required, book deliveries, and ensure stock is organised in a timely and efficient manner. Housekeeping & Stock Organisation: Ensure cleanliness and order within the stores, standardising stock locations and maintaining a well-organised, safe environment. Stock Issues & Reporting: Handle stock issues, raise orders, and generate regular reports to monitor inventory levels and usage. Warranty & Invoice Management: Oversee warranty claims and resolve any invoice discrepancies or queries. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and address any issues in the supply chain. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all stock handling and store management activities comply with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Administrative Support: Assist with filing and other administrative tasks Collaboration & Reporting: Report regularly to the Workshop & Engineering Manager Desirable experience: A strong safety awareness approach to working in a safety-critical environment. Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and EAM (or similar asset management databases). Knowledge of bus engineering, parts, and materials, with an understanding of their application in the maintenance and repair environment. Strong personal skills, including effective communication, self-motivation, and a focus on accuracy and quality. The ability to plan and prioritise work efficiently, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and organised manner.
