Your Role: As an Export Specialist, you will manage Irvine customer orders through complex shipping and freight processes, ensuring individual customer requirements are successfully met. This includes supervising, arranging, and monitoring all export shipments, managing relationships with 3rd party warehousing, and directing exportation with freight forwarders and other vendors. You will also serve as the Site Subject Matter Expert for Global Transportation & Export issues, maintaining knowledge of regulatory requirements, staying abreast of exporting technologies, and making appropriate recommendations to customers and Sales. Additionally, you will coordinate with local and regional Freight & Transportation teams, communicate and manage customer orders professionally, and field customer complaints with regard to shipping and logistics.

Who You Are:

Degree level or equivalent, Logistics Qualification, Import / Export Tax Qualification/ DGSA Expertise Experience within a strategic or technical position in a logistics or customs environment Global transportation and export logistics experience Experience working with Operations, commercial organization, and customers Strong problem identification and resolution skills Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve customer satisfaction Good organizational skills Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities Proficiency in MS Windows, Word and Excel or equivalent Previous SAP experience an advantage
