The roleAs a Fabrication Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving project success, ensuring that all activities align with our goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery and People.

Day-to-day, you’ll lead a passionate team of Industrial Trades professionals responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, as well as testing and commissioning activities on our Fleet Assets.

Working closely with the Nuclear Repair Enablement and Fleet Programme Teams to clearly define the work needed for each activity, breaking tasks down and scheduling them to minimize conflicts Ensuring all safety, quality and technical documentation is meticulously reviewed and readily available before commencing any tasks Engaging and managing subcontractors to execute specific components of work packages in line with established site processes Advocating for and implementing the Company’s Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies throughout projects, conducting risk assessments to promote a culture of safe working practices Collaborating with the on-site Delivery Management team and departmental Training Staff to enhance the development and performance of the Delivery Team

This role is full time, 36 hours per week and is based on site at Clyde, Faslane.

Essential experience of the Fabrication Supervisor

Working a similar role in a highly regulated industry Proficient in Safe Systems of Work and their practical application Strong understanding of Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced engineering environment

Qualifications for the Fabrication Supervisor

HNC in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent hands-on experience and knowledge ILM Level 3 certification is desirable, but not essential

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
