Faculty Standards and Conducts Officer

The Faculty of Engineering & Science is one of four faculties at the University of Greenwich, split across two campuses – the Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent, and the Greenwich Campus in Greenwich, London. Dedicated to inspirational learning, combining teaching with work placements and impactful research and is a complete hub for all STEM subjects within the University. 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Professional Services Team, as a Standards and Conducts Officer. The successful candidate will work in a team which is split across the two campuses, assisting with the processes associated with Standards and Conducts, covering a range of administrative activities including extenuating circumstances, assessment misconduct, examination organisation, planning and delivery, recruitment of External Examiners/Invigilators and supporting the Ethics Committee.

The successful candidate will have a Degree or relevant qualifications, or have extensive experience in administrative support.  They will also have experience of working in administration in an education environment, preferably in a further/higher education. The candidate must have excellent IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) and other tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. The successful candidate will have experience of liaising with a wide variety of individuals and organisations as well as being able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of colleagues and students.

The successful applicant will be based at our Medway campus, but would be expected to attend the Greenwich campus on occasion.
