Position Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Forecasting team within the Financial Controller organisation in Civil. This unique and broad role gives the holder the opportunity to understand the financials of Commercial Aviation and work with a wide range of people across the value streams. Reporting to the Head of Forecasting, you will be a key player in creating and analysing the Commercial Aviation forecasts where you will be required to co-ordinate inputs and provide insightful commentary that will help the Head of Forecasting and the SVP/FBP of Finance across the value streams to understand their numbers and support inputs into FP&A. What you will be doing: In this role, you will understand all aspects of the Income Statement, Cashflow, Balance Sheet, Working Capital for Commercial Aviation, and what levers we have to influence the financials. You will also. Play a key part in managing the variety of inputs we use in the forecasting process and provide insight in to how these inputs are impacting the financials. You will be a dedicated point of contact for one of the value streams, leading the forecasting process and supporting the SVP/FBP in creating the forecasts and supporting the submissions into FP&A Support process improvement projects that come out of âlessons learnedâ from our forecasting process and show a process improvement mindset to all that we do Understand governance across our processes and support compliance to policies and controls Position Qualifications: Qualified accountant or working towards (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) Background in actuals/forecasting process Preferred Requirements: Advanced Excel for consolidating a wide range of inputs into meaningful analysis Working knowledge of VBM Ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of individuals and teams Drive for process improvement Services experience advantageous Regional Benefits: Work in a safety-first environment where doing the right thing and keeping it simple are core principles.
