We wish to appoint a well-organised Finance Assistant to support the University's Payments Team who has the responsibility for promptly and accurately processing supplier invoices from 4,000 suppliers, and expense claims from 3,000 staff each year!
Your primary role will involve
registering and processing invoices for a defined portfolio of suppliersprocessing staff expenses claimsensuring processes are fully compliant with current University Financial Regulationsensuring payments are passed for approval in a timely manner to achieve regular deadlinesYou should have a good standard of general education, an eye for detail and sound IT skills.
You will need to
be well-organisedbe a confident communicatorbe tactful in dealing with peopleenjoy working as part of a supportive team to meet common goals.Previous experience of working in an Accounts Payable environment would be a distinct advantage.
This is a part-time role working 29.2 hours per week (0.8 fte).
We can provide you with a flexible approach to your work, offering the opportunity to strike the right balance between working from home and from an office location within Bath city centre and close to the Bath Spa train station.
