The role As Financial reporting Manager you will support the Head of Functional Reporting to deliver Financial control and reporting deliverables for the Functional and Central cost base. Youâll help us make health happen by Central shared service of financial controls for reporting and reviewing central cost base £250m Ensure central year-end statutory accounts and VAT returns, including supporting documentation, are prepared and completed to professional standards Leaning processes to reduce wastage and applying appropriate controls materiality to financial processes including process mapping, documenting, using toolsets available: Power BI, Oracle, PeopleSoft etc Lead, manage, motivate, and support a team of 6-7 individuals Regular review and update of financial statutory reporting and controls including but not limited to process mapping, maintenance of risk register Ensure regular BS reconciliations to support and robust challenge on granularity and regularity to ensure appropriate risk-based approach Be responsible for financial and board reporting for the Bupa Foundation Responsible for staff training and development Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role Hold a professional accountancy qualification â ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) Financial and statutory accounts reporting experience Leaning processes experience preferred Solution orientated, flexible and pragmatic Ability to work under significant pressure and intensity â handling multiple conflicts of interest and priorities Be able to demonstrate solid people management and leadership skills Benefits Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
