In these</p> <p>approximately 50 countries in Europe and beyond some 13,000 colleagues are employed by DHL Freight.</p>   <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>To monitor and administrate freight collections and deliveries, plus manage on the road transport operations to ensure successful completion.</li> <li>Liaise with customers on a regular basis to monitor and process consignments and solve any operational problems</li> <li>Keep internal communications with other DHL Freight partner as necessary</li> <li>Process, maintain and update data on company systems</li> <li>Ensure shipping process is carried out in line with the company's processes and quality procedures</li> <li>Prepare required paperwork for Suppliers expert user in house TMS systems (full training provided)</li> <li>Planning of Export linehaul</li> </ul>     <p><strong>Profile</strong></p><ul> <li>Good organisational, IT and communication skills.</li> <li>Intermediate use of MS Office Packages - preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of Dangerous Goods - desired</li> <li>Ability to focus on identifying and meeting customer's needs (internal and external)</li> <li>Ability to think and act across boundaries ( e.g. between processes and departments)</li> <li>Contributes new ideas and is happy to challenge the status quo</li> <li>Challenges self to continually improve in role</li> <li>Good communication skills both individually and to internal/external customers</li> <li>Be aware of Health and Safety standards, along with a high understanding of dignity and diversity in the workplace.</li> <li>Have a methodical and organised approach to work with the ability to think ahead and prioritise tasks.</li> <li>One year Logistics office experience preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of UK/European road transport geography preferred</li> <li>Numeracy and literacy skills essential</li> <li>Some warehouse interaction required</li> </ul>   <p><strong>We offer</strong></p><ul> <li>Competitive salary package</li> <li>Excellent working environment and with IT Mobility</li> <li>Monday to Friday</li> <li>Lichfield Location</li> </ul>     <p><strong>CONNECTING PEOPLE.
