Part Time General Assistant

£12.21 per hour - Pay rate effective 1 April 2025

Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a General Assistant at our Private Retirement Communities, New Court, Cheltenham.

The role of General Assistant will include:

Providing a waiter service in our in-house restaurant, taking orders, serving food and drinks Assisting the chef with food prep and cleaning Manning the bar and operating an EPOS till system Providing an efficient service in a luxury environment for the owners, family, and friends Assisting in creating a homely atmosphere to the owners Accurate cash handling and reconciliation duties at the end of shifts Ensuring that the highest level of customer care and service are maintained at all times

Skills and experiences:

Able to demonstrate a competent level of numeracy and literacy Some experience of bar work in a hotel or other residential setting Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties Good communication and customer care skills
