Job Description Global Mobility Advisor FTC 12 months Maternity Cover Derby / Hybrid (1 / 2 days per week in office) Why Rolls-Royce? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global Mobility Advisor to join our Global Mobility Team, based in Derby. Global Mobility assists with moving employees compliantly from one Country to another, this includes undertaking an international assignment, relocating permanently in another country, or travelling on business. This role is to assist in the management of all internationally mobile employees supported by Global Mobility by providing assistance to the business and individuals and also partnering with external service providers to deliver a seamless end to end service of all aspects of the relevant move. On a daily basis you will provide support on Permanent International Transfers, initiate new cases and support the Senior Global Mobility Advisor on more complex moves and escalations. You will also help to manage vendors to ensure service delivery expectations are consistently met and work with external service providers to proactively the international move pipeline. This is a dynamic, fast paced role working with individuals globally. As this is a Fixed Term contract previous experience within Global Mobility is preferred, as you will need to hit the ground running. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in international mobility and a basic understanding or appreciation of the different aspects. What you will be doing: Your role will include, but is not limited to: Collaborate with SME in the wider Global Mobility team as Develop strong working relationships with international assignees, the business and external suppliers Identify areas for process improvements and implement Monitor and manage shared mailboxes and respond to routine queries / escalations from individuals and the business Review and approve expense claims to ensure they are within policy Review and approve invoices from external suppliers Who weâre looking for: At Rolls-Royce we embrace agility, are bold, pursue collaboration and seek simplicity in everything we do. Experience of Microsoft office, HR related systems or other database related systems A good understanding of the Microsoft suite of applications is required in addition to the ability to quickly build an understanding of bespoke applications used by the Global Mobility team and their external service providers. Strong Communication Skills Working with people from all over the world, especially where English is a second language, it is critical to have strong communication skills, both written and verbal to ensure that key information is clearly communicated Strong personal organisation skills and ability to work under own initiative The role will be very fast paced with the individual being required to prioritise their own workload accordingly to meet individual and business deadlines and managing expectations of all relevant parties Team Player Whilst each member of the team has a clearly defined role, it is often required to support other team members with knowledge sharing to address a specific deadline or project. Additionally, there are opportunities for all team members to broaden their global mobility knowledge through supporting, buddying and shadowing the wider team.
