£38,000 - £40,000 per annum

We are looking for a passionate and adaptable HR Advisor to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of primarily home-based work, with the exciting opportunity to conduct monthly site visits to the Dublin Criminal Courts of Justice and occasional travel within the UK, for which a company car will be provided. Ideally, the candidate will reside in the Oxford/Cheltenham area to facilitate support for other contracts. However, candidates from other locations will be considered, provided they are willing to undertake regular travel
As a HR Advisor you will provide an excellent professional HR advisory service. You'll be a key partner to line managers, providing expert HR advice, guidance, and training across recruitment, development, and general HR operations. Crucially, as this role will directly support our contract in Dublin, candidates must possess current and comprehensive knowledge of Irish employment law and legislation.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Employee Relations & Performance: Provide expert guidance on HR policies, manage disciplinary/grievance processes, and support performance management.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding, and oversee the security screening process.
Training & Development: Support induction and other training initiatives. Manage the training plan and matrix
HR Data & Reporting: Analyze HR data, monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and provide reports to management. Lead HR reporting, support operational reporting, and liaise with central HR functions.
HR Initiatives & Compliance: Contribute to HR strategy, ensure compliance with company policies, and manage payroll administration.
Payroll & Benefits: Manage new employee setup on payroll and time & attendance systems, provide advice on pay and benefits, and liaise with the payroll department.Essential Criteria:
Must possess a thorough understanding of all HR functions, including employee relations and recruitment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are crucial, with the capacity to build and maintain professional relationships across all levels.
Demonstrates initiative in identifying and resolving issues
Proficient in Google's productivity tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
CIPD certification or equivalent is required.
The ability to travel as needed is essential.
Knowledge and awareness of Kronos (timekeeping/workforce management), SAP (enterprise resource planning), Concur (expense management), and Zellis (payroll) would be beneficial
