Are you currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources? Do you have a passion for people and the intricacies of the employee lifecycle? If so, we invite you to join our dynamic Employee Relations team.

How you will make an impact

As a HR Student Assistant, you'll seamlessly integrate work with your studies, playing a vital role in enhancing our Employee Relations function. Gain invaluable insights and make a tangible impact on our organization and the colleague experience, all while paving the way for your future career.

In this role, your contributions will be key in driving various Employee Relations initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Employee Relations, you'll directly influence our ER Strategy and enhance the overall colleague experience. Your responsibilities will include:

Engaging in HR administrative tasks, notetaking during meetings, and assisting with ad-hoc project work. Supporting case load management and preparing files for ACAS cases and Employment Tribunals. Managing diaries, planning agendas for National Work Council meetings, and notetaking during discussions with colleague representatives and Trade Union officials. Assisting the Policy working group by planning agendas, following up on action plans, and improving our online policy portals for colleagues and People Managers. Handling HR-related invoices and purchase orders. Participating in ad-hoc HR projects, offering you the chance to expand your HR expertise. Upholding confidentiality within the Human Resources team.

What will make you successful

To succeed in this role, you must be enrolled in a Human Resources degree program and possess excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Additionally, you should be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
