Head of Change Delivery Contract: 12 months Fixed Term Contract London: circa £140,000 This is a high-impact, time-sensitive leadership role at the heart of CIO Customer & Marketing transformation. As Head of Change Delivery, you will be instrumental in translating strategic ambition into value-driven change across Digital, Data, and MarTech portfolios. Youâll lead a portfolio worth over £50M, overseeing strategic change execution, delivery governance, and stakeholder alignment to accelerate customer-centric transformation and workforce effectiveness. A Bit About the Role: Operating at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and customer experience, this role drives the planning, execution, and governance of end-to-end change across the CIO Customer & Marketing portfolio. It leads a multidisciplinary team of up to 50 FTEs, fostering collaboration across senior leadership, markets, and suppliers. With oversight of a complex budget spanning both Run and Change initiatives, the role ensures delivery is consistently aligned with time, cost, and quality expectations. Additionally, it plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of change capability by cultivating a resilient and agile workforce that evolves in step with dynamic business needs. Shape and execute the CIO C&M change strategy, ensuring alignment with wider enterprise objectives while fostering a customer-focused culture that drives innovation, collaboration, and constructive challenge Drive delivery across a £50m portfolio, ensuring value, delivery pace, and adherence to governance frameworks, with rigorous oversight of programme progress, risks, and financials within a +/-5% tolerance Lead stakeholder engagement and communication, partnering with business sponsors, markets, suppliers, and transformation partners, while also delivering a robust communication plan to maintain high team engagement Build delivery capability and culture across agile, project, and PMO disciplines in collaboration with practice leads and the wider C&M CIO team, ensuring all efforts are focused on delivering meaningful customer outcomes Ensure strong governance and operational control, overseeing all CIO controls across engineering, change, and suppliers in line with Aviva framework, while developing effective supplier relationships and partnering with HR to support team development and talent growth Skills and experience weâre looking for: Proven leadership of large-scale change portfolios (£10m+), ideally in a regulated environment Deep expertise in strategic delivery, stakeholder management, and risk governance Strong commercial acumen and supplier management experience in a tech-enabled transformation context Ability to connect technology change to the end-to-end customer journey and business value Experience building and managing high-performing, agile teams with a continuous improvement mindset What youâll get for this role: Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow â is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
