Head of Claims Finance Business Partnering Norwich or London Salary from £100,000 (DOE) Are you a highly commercially-focused Senior Finance professional, who has tons of experience managing large teams within a General Insurance (GI) setting? Are you an exceptional relationship builder, who always has a performance-focused lens when it comes to driving the very best financial performance, and is used to working in a highly demanding, but rewarding, Personal lines and Claims environment? If so, we’d love you to take a closer look at our latest senior vacancy - Head of Claims Finance Business Partnering, which can be based out of our Norwich or London offices (hybrid working), with occasional travel to our Perth offices also! A bit about the job: You’ll be the Finance Lead, and partner to, Aviva UK GI Claims function, operating as a senior leader on both the Personal Lines Business Partnering team as well as sitting on our Claims Senior Leadership (SLT) Team. The role requires collaborative working to drive financial performance, as well as deliver great customer and commercial outcomes. Key areas for focus will be leading a team of 13, alongside supporting and challenging the Claims SLT in delivering its goals, advising on the financial implications of proposed actions and actions already taken. Skills and Experience You will need prior experience working for a General Insurance / Claims business, operating in a senior finance role – i.e., you’ll need to understand the commercial drivers within this environment We need someone with the ability to demonstrate excellent senior stakeholder and business partnering skills You’ll have the right level of commercial understanding as to how the financial side of a General Insurance business runs, so you can drive performance Prior exposure of managing a large team, with excellent influencing and motivation skills You’ll also be degree educated and ideally a qualified accountant (or relevant extensive experience if not) What you’ll get for this role: Our purpose – with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
