Job Description Role Title Head of Delivery - Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning Reporting To SVP IT Solution â Customer & Services Role Description An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital & IT Team as a Head of Delivery - Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning. This position, reporting to the SVP IT Solution â Customer & Services will be accountable for delivery of all Digital & IT scope which forms part of the multiyear, business critical, Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) Business Transformation Programme, and future capability development. The SIOP Programme is a high priority for both Civil and the wider Rolls-Royce Group, delivering a £500m+ benefit to Civil alone across the 5-year plan. Timely and effective delivery of the required IT & Digital solution to enable to the SIOP process will be vital to the success of the programme. This role therefore presents a fantastic opportunity make a big impact within both Digital & IT Team and Rolls-Royce Group. This role is Derby based, with 3 days on-site, as it will need to work as an integrated part of the SIOP Programme team based in the Derby Moor Lane offices. Key Accountabilities Accountable for timely delivery of all IT & Digital scope within the SIOP programme, and future enhancement to support the SIOP process. Works with the Programme Executive for the overall SIOP programme to ensure that deliverables and understood and delivered in line with the programme. Ensures that any future Digital & IT enhancement required to support the SIOP Process are fully understood, launched, and delivered in line with business needs. Forms and manage a high performing cross-functional Digital & IT team of internal and external resources to define and deliver the business needs. Establishes and operates an effective governance, reporting and communications approach to ensure stakeholder awareness, engagement, and timely decisions. Supports the Programme Executive to establish and maintain the business case, including supporting investment boards. Builds strong and trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders, enhancing our reputation as a business value delivery focussed group. Ensures that SIOP solutions delivered are designed for and transitioned into service effectively. Key Experiences / Skills Extensive experience in programme and project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex, multiyear programmes of work. Strong understanding of programme management techniques, including programme governance, reporting and communication. Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels, comfortable navigating a matrix structure with strong presentation, influencing and communication skills. An inclusive leadership style, who will motivate, coach, and develop teams to drive effective collaboration (both internally and externally) and delivery. Highly pro-active, motivated, and business outcome focused. Experience / knowledge of the SIOP process and related systems (e.g. SAP, Maximo) highly beneficial.
