Head of Support Team (Yorks & Humber)

Join us as The Head of Support Team, where you will be heading up the support team in Leeds and South Yorkshire & Humber area. You will identify, anticipate & satisfy client & colleague support needs profitably across the 5Cs within their defined geographical area. Collaborating with area Business banking or Corporate banking stakeholders to support their teams across markets to achieve & exceed their business plans. Responsibility for the direct leadership, performance, coaching & development of Associate Bankers whilst optimising the Associate Bankers (AB) roles and responsibilities. This role exists in Barclays UK (BUK) and Corporate & International (C&I).

Purpose of the role

To direct leadership, performance, coaching & development of Associate Bankers whilst optimising the Associate Bankers (AB) roles and responsibilities.

Accountabilities

Training, development & communication to ensure up to date understanding of new and existing client solutions & processes, contributing to the flow of client solutions through t..Resource requirements in line with the national vision and enabling a high-performance environment demonstrating flexibility and consistency for colleagues utilising the performance development framework.Collaboration with stakeholders to support ABs in their fulfilment of Credit requirements including pricing to achieve great customer outcomes.Enables Barclays to make a positive impact on the environment and the communities we serve by supporting the delivery of outcomes that build long term relationships and enhance our reputation.Follow, improve and strengthen controls wherever possible, working collaboratively across teams to proactively identify and manage risks, including when risks change, or escalation is required.Implementation of best-in-class service culture to enhance great customer outcomes. Develops and maintains an active stakeholder map ensuring productive cross sector relationships across Barclays.
