The Royal Veterinary College has an exciting permanent opportunity to join our Corporate Health and Safety Team (CHST), embedded in the Organisational Effectiveness Group within Human Resources. Supporting our Corporate H&S Manager, you will lead in providing specialist advice on Biosafety and Biosecurity within our farming, biological sciences and clinical (animal) spaces however you will also have experience of providing general Health and Safety Advice to support the rest of the CHST, be a NEBOSH National General Certificate holder and either be Biosafety Practitioner Level 1 qualified or working toward this.
You will also have strong interpersonal, organisational and multi-tasking skills, a sound working knowledge of current H&S law, committed to your own continuous professional development and the promotion of safe, supportive and enriching experiences for staff and students. This role, although primarily based at our Hawkshead Campus, will require occasional travel to our Camden campus. A presence either campus will be required although some working from home can be accommodated.
