Job Description: Bank Healthcare Assistant (Oncology ward) Cromwell Hospital, London SW5 0TU Paying £16.21ph Role Overview: As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will be caring and compassionate. You will delivering a high standard of care to our patients. We value all our people and will provide you support and a great place to work. What you'll do: You will be prioritizing patient care needs and complete a comprehensive assessment and escalate accordingly. You will be carrying out heights and weights on patient arrival as well as maintaining strict patient confidentiality. Assisting co-coordinating a busy department. You will be screening patients upon their arrival. Adhering to the hospitals infection control measures and promoting these within the team. In addition to this you will attend study days and adhere to 100% compliance of Cromwell Hospital mandatory training timescales. You will be supporting the consultants in collaboration with the nurses. What youâll bring: Experience as a Healthcare Assistant (essential) Hold an NVQ in health and social care Hold the Care Certificate Qualification or willing to complete the training Basic Life Support Trained (desirable) Have a desire to develop both professionally and personally NVQ Level 2 (Direct Patient Care) or equivalent Excellent team player Understanding of safeguarding best practice and awareness of relevant child protection legislation Why Bupa?
