Housing Support Assistant

To cover Staffordshire and Cheshire area (Base office location may vary dependent upon suitable candidate)

£26,012 per annum - Pay rate effective 1st April

37.5 hours per week

Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Housing Support Assistant across the Staffordshire and Cheshire area (Base location may vary dependent upon suitable candidate).

The role of Housing Support Assistant will include:

Providing onsite management and supervision of the supported housing service ensuring the delivery of an effective, enhanced, housing management service Assisting with tenancy and voids management and maintaining occupancy levels Supporting and promoting compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures Building and maintaining relationships with customers and internal and external key stakeholders Managing the procurement and availability of supplies, furniture, and equipment Recording and updating relevant data, maintaining effective filing systems Contributing to special projects and change programmes as appropriate

Skills and experiences:

Previous experience delivering tenancy services Experience working to deadlines and prioritising workload Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages Literacy and numeracy to the equivalent of Grade C English and Maths GCSE NVQ2 or equivalent in relevant area Ability to extract and interrogate data Some experience in the use of housing management systems or similar is desirable Occasional travel may be a requirement of the role; therefore, a full valid driving licence is essential
