The role
As an IQA, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Responsible for ensuring accuracy and consistency of learning delivery and assessment decisions within our training and apprenticeship programmes.
Day-to-day, you’ll be part of a team that enhanced delivery outcomes, and drives continuous educational improvement.
Be an integral part of the business unit contract teams, providing day-to-day support and direction on quality assurance. To conduct quality assurance activities in line with the IQA strategy, Awarding Organisation, ESFA / DfE and Ofsted requirements. Produce sampling plans based on risk and in line with the IQA strategy. Conduct observations of teaching, learning and assessment (and learning walks and progress reviews where applicable) ensuring feedback provided is clear, constructive, and supportive. Ensure, where applicable, that line managers are supported to devise a development plan. Give clear, accurate and timely feedback to delivery staff, both verbally and written.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements
Essential experience of the IQA • Extensive education / training quality experience (ideally in the adult sector). • Experience of conducting teaching and learning observations. • Experience of conducting IQA activity against accredited standards. • Ideally industry experience within the engineering field
Qualifications for the IQA • L2 English and maths or equivalent, • Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA).
Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
