The University is looking to recruit individuals with one or more of the following expertise to fill a limited number of vacancies on its Board of Governors:
Arts and Creative IndustriesBranding and MarketingGovernment and PolicyMedical School Development/EducationLeading Small and Medium-sized BusinessesBoard of Governors plays a focal role in the strategic development and overall performance of the University of Lincoln, and membership of the Board offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals to play a key part in enhancing the University’s success and reputation regionally, nationally and internationally, as well as personal development and networking opportunities that this brings.
The Board usually meets six times a year, with one strategic Away Day which is combined with one of the formal meetings. Members are expected to give priority to attendance, and also to attend training and development days. Members of the Board can also join one or more of the Board’s sub-committees (i.e. Audit, Finance, Remuneration). Governors are not paid, but expenses are reimbursed.
