Responsibilities · Analyze, recommend and execute Money Market and short dated Fixed Income purchase and sales transactions, · Effectively contribute to the management and positioning of EUR and GBP Money Market portfolios, · Monitor and manage portfolio requirements of MSIM liquidity funds, with reference to regulatory, rating agency and internal restrictions, · Provide day-to-day oversight and relationship management of key Front Office support functions and third-party vendors, · Contribute to portfolio management strategy meetings, to accurately convey team thoughts on current macro developments, · Aid the Distribution team by contributing to Money Market Fund client meetings, market updates and new business pitches, · Develop and maintain strong relationships with market participants, such as banks, brokers and other trading counterparties, rating agencies and regulators, · Effectively manage repo counterparty trading execution and documentation, · Contribute to the strong leadership and culture of success of the MSIM Liquidity Team. QualificationsSkills Required · Bachelor’s Degree required, · General fixed income/money market experience, · Experience with executing fixed income market transactions, · Solid functioning knowledge of the banking system as it relates to money markets, · Understanding of the structures and types of various money market securities, · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, · Excellent verbal and written communication skills and quantitative skills, · Proficient in Bloomberg, Excel – Aladdin a plus, · Positive team player with ability to work to strict deadlines and make quick effective decisions while maintaining close attention to detail.
