As a Lead Engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of components on a given platform from concept into production, with platform & project engineer responsibilities. Achieving targets for component/system cost, weight, NVH, dynamics, safety, and function into the program team, as well as making the design and tooling releases to suppliers.

Design and Engineering of BIW components from concept to Production in CATIA Working across steel and aluminium componentry Derivation of Engineering Specifications, DFMEA, Delivery Timing Plan and Design Verification Plans (DVP) Providing technical and engineering support for Design Engineers & Lead Engineers Supplier management, discussions and communications Resolution of engineering issues throughout process (AIMS) Design of components that adhere to departmental standards
