Learning Technology Manager

The Faculty of Engineering and Science, based across our Greenwich and Medway campuses, is a vibrant community known for pushing the boundaries of digital and STEM education.

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Faculty Learning Technology Manager to lead the strategic integration of digital technologies in teaching and learning. You will head the Faculty Learning Technology (FLT) team and play a key role in shaping our digital education future. 

The role focuses on developing and implementing a faculty-wide digital education strategy, aligned with institutional goals and national standards. You will champion the ethical and inclusive use of learning technologies from VLEs and analytics tools to AI and multimedia platforms and lead projects that transform how students learn and engage. You will also co-chair the faculty’s TEL steering group (LEGO), guiding innovation priorities, sharing best practices, and promoting collaboration across academic and professional teams.

As manager of the faculty's Learning Technology Support Team, you will ensure high-quality, responsive support to academic and administrative staff. A key focus will be supporting the effective use of Moodle, SharePoint, and other systems, as well as coordinating bespoke digital capability development for teaching staff. Working in partnership with central teams like Academic Learning Enhancement (ALE), the Digital Learning Team (DLT), and Information & Library Services (ILS), you will help shape a seamless and modern learning ecosystem.
